We are Francesco, Sefora and Elia.
And this is our invitation to join us at the table.
We set off from Switzerland, eager to get to know places and people through food. We seek out mothers’ and grandmothers’ recipes, dishes that tell the story of a region, and the simple hospitality that stays with you.
We love discoveries far away and close to home. A trattoria, a family kitchen, a shared dessert: any table can become a memory.

our journey begins.
Il Dono is our own restaurant, part of Le Taverne F&S. Here we introduce our home and the people who bring it to life.
I’m Francesco. Before we set off around the world, we’d like you to meet Il Dono. To me, welcoming someone to the table means making them feel at home. Food is a passion, and so are people: those who cook, those who serve and those who sit down with us.
We put our work, care in choosing ingredients and desire to offer a table worth returning to into our restaurant. These are the values we believe in and try to put into practice every day.
Through Le Tavole Vere del Mondo, Sefora, Elia and I want to discover other tables too: taste new flavours, listen to stories and share honest accounts of our experiences.
